"IF YOU'RE WALKIN' ON EGGS, DON'T HOP"
Busy couple of days. I'll try and update this again later but as I'm working again tomorrow it may not happen. I need to get some writing done.
I guess the biggest news is that I'm going to attempt to start my PhD this year. My subject is all over the place at the moment but once I narrow it down some I'll bore you all to death with it.
I'm writing this outside. On one side of me is the cat while to my right a fox cub is sitting and staring at me like I don't belong here. Cute little bastard.
The sad part of today was seeing the aftermath of an accident right outside of the store. A woman fell from the back of a bus. This being London the place was soon crowded with tourists and gawkers. A motorcycle paramedic was there within a few minutes. Then the police and the ambulance. Then more police.
Then the helicopter.
He made a good stab at landing right on Charing Cross Road but we were too tight. He touched down further up just outside Les Misrables with not a lot of room between the rotor and lamposts. They had to work on the woman right out in the street. It was a good thirty minutes before they moved her to the helicopter. Hope she was ok...
That's all for now.
I'm going to cheer myself up by talking to the fox.
