We got the tickets today. Well the main ones at least. Here is the trip so far: December 15th fly to New York. We will have a few days to kill there before going down to Washington DC and Baltimore to see Mike and Todd. Not sure exactly where we will be spending Christmas Day yet (probably Washington) but we aim to get all the way down to New Orleans for New Year. From there we go back up to Chicago then across to San Francisco. We will be doing all of the US travelling by train � we aim to see more by rolling through the landscape rather than flying over it (we still have to finalise that journey in detail but we should be picking up the Amtrak tickets on Friday). After catching up with people in San Francisco we head to Los Angeles and from there onto Mexico City. That should take us up to mid January. Mexico is Jess� part of the trip so the details are all down to her. We will be travelling around for the best part of four weeks � at some point I�ll sit down with Jess and find out exactly where it is we'll be going - before heading back to Mexico City and a flight back to LA. From there we get a 20-hour flight to Sydney. This should be around the 21st of February. Few days in Sydney before we head for Perth and Johnny and then onto Brisbane and Frank � must remember to let him know we are coming. After Brisbane the 4th of March will find us in Tokyo, Japan where we will see as much as we can for 4 days before landing back in London on the 8th.
