POCKET INTERNET
I need to get Doc down to London again:
Now that I've got my new monitor (which is stupidly huge and about twice as big as my TV) I am very much looking forward to throwing my old, broken one off the roof and filming it exploding in the street below.
Love that guy.
So Jess has been on jury duty all last week and putting up with all the boredom that that entails. In between shuffling in and out of court she has been nursing the new Clie. The upshot of her time fiddling with Japanese characters is that she worked out all the wireless settings on the thing and we now have it hooked up to the new network.
It's very different having the interweb in your pocket. I read half of War of the Worlds last night while reclining on the couch and ignoring the phone. Sweet.
Pretty stormy here last night. You really feel it at the top of a building and the cranes that surround us were taking a real battering. Glad to see it didn't deter those chaps who scaled Big Ben yesterday.
Going to go for a wander today and then have to type like a bastard to rework a piece I'm doing on zombies that came across as a tad violent in the first draft...
Some other stuff on the boil but more about that later.
End.
