SEXY SCI FI This is what I get for roughing it on the SKY News website: Barbarella has been named as the sexiest sci-fi character in a poll for Film Review magazine. The 1968 film of the same name featured Jane Fonda as the scantily-clad intergalactic heroine. The Daily Star said that the poll rated female sci-fi stars for flirtiness, stylishness and sexiness. Of Fonda's performance, it quoted the pollsters as saying: "Getting dressed in zero gravity has never looked as good as in the opening sequence of this classic sci-fi film. "A Sixties icon who was sweetness itself, and yet also the sexiest screen heroine ever to sport a transparent plastic vest." Milla Jovovich was second in the poll for her performance as Leeloo in The Fifth Element, while Kristinna Loken was third for playing a killer robot T-X in Terminator 3: The Rise of the Machines. The top 10: 1. Barbarella (played by Jane Fonda in Barbarella) 2. Leeloo (played by Milla Jovovich, The Fifth Element) 3. T-X (played by Kristanna Loken, Terminator 3) 4. Princess Leia (played by Carrie Fisher, Star Wars) 5. Trinity (played by Carrie Anne Moss, The Matrix) 6. Maria (played by Brigitte Helm, Metropolis) 7. Zhora (played by Joanna Cassidy, Blade Runner) 8. Sil (played by Natasha Henstridge, Species) 9. Vaako (played by Thandie Newton, The Chronicles of Riddick) 10. Ripley (played by Sigourney Weaver, Alien) Give me ten minutes and I'll have a real list for you. Terminator 3? Fucking muppets. Mike is blogging to: Johnny Cash
