We just remembered that we are having the house painted top to bottom starting tomorrow. Just had to strip the top room of the house ready for when Jim arrives tomorrow. Jim will be doing all the painting and is a cool guy - he looks a little like Christopher Reeve around the time of Superman II. If I can get him to mug for the camera I'll stick his face up here next to the man of steel. I just found a couple of invites that I forgot about. One is to a launch party for a book about the history of 'psycho cinema' up at the Curzon Soho. Could be a fun way to spend Wednesday evening. The other is for the London Book Fair in a few weeks which would be cool if only so I can check out some of the new Fantagraphics titles. I'll miss all the perks of the job - not enough to stay in it though. More coffee, more writing (fiction this time) and more music to follow. Mike is blogging to: Television - Little Johnny Jewel
