I only start work at 2.30 this afternoon which has given me the morning but I'll be working until 11pm. Should be a good day though, we've got Michael Marshall Smith signing this afternoon. I'm off to the Chuck Palahniuk thing tomorrow of course - looking forward to that. I just started reading 'Lullaby' and it's bloody good - I have to admit that I wasn't sure how he was going to pull off what, on the surface, seemed to be a slightly silly concept but I should have had mort faith. This is Duncan's last day with us - well I guess yesterday was but I get to see him and Anu one more time before they set off for Helsinki - very fucking odd to think he won't be around after working with him for two years plus... glad to say he's gone from dependable bookseller/manager to world traveller with a beautiful woman on his arm. Good luck mate. Frank is with us for another couple of weeks before he sets off for Australia. We went out last night and got curried up... good fun. I'm going werewolf hunting on Friday.
