"MAKING GOOD USE OF THE THINGS THAT WE FIND, THINGS THAT THE EVERYDAY FOLKS LEAVE BEHIND" Today is my fun day of computer orientated activities... Hang on... That's better... In an attempt to keep my mind open to new experiences I tried listening to 'Badly Drawn Boy'. Thankfully the sound of the CD hitting the opposite wall made a much more satisfying noise than the be-bearded hat wearing cunt ever could. People listen to that shit? Should be rounded up, put in camps and drowned in their own waste. Anyway, where was I? Oh yes... So there are a number of things I need to get done today: 1. Write a big chunk of my NaNoWriMo novel. Got the bastard up to 4,888 words now and despite the excerpt online it is not about September 11th. 2. Finish my piece for Brindled which I forgot about until yesterday. Oops. 3. Burn a selection of Fugazi and Shellac for some of the guys at work. 4. Catch up with my email. I went for breakfast with Jess to the local cafe and found this story in the newspaper there: "Work on a new main road in New Zealand was stopped yesterday after Maori elders said it risked disturbing the lair of a mythical one-eyed dragon." Wonder if that would work over here? 'No you can't build anymore ring roads. It angers the Wombles'. Mike is blogging to: Everclear
