An American Channel Five news report on the shooting can be seen here. It shows the raw video footage - family cuffed, kneeling and pleading for the police to keep the doors closed. Small and obviously non-aggresive dog then ambles out of the car and away from the police. As soon as it turns around one of the two troopers who are carrying shotguns (still out despite the family all being cuffed) shoots it in the head.
