I get to meet a lot of authors which is cool (although some of them can be pricks - hello Richard Price) and its always fun to chat with them. The weird thing about meeting Glen Duncan is that he already knew my name. Seems he'd already read my views on his book over on Bookslut and as I was perhaps the first person to review it he remembered it well. We spoke for a while about the book and his hopes for it and writing in general. Nice guy. You should buy his book.
