In retrospect there were a number of clues that should have prepared me for the awfulness of tonight's gig. 1. It was sponsored by XFM 2. It was listed in KERRANG 3. The headliners were named after a piece of American military hardware and a fat dead Vegas cabaret singer. 4. One of the support bands had a 14 year old friend who was the 'official band photographer' because he had the use of his mum's digital camera. 5. Half the audience wore overly baggy jeans to conceal the fact that they were still not quite toilet trained. I am showering in REAL MUSIC to cleanse myself of the experience.
