HERE I GO AGAIN
We went to the Lord of the Rings exhibition over at The Science Museum. It managed to combine all the boredom of a regular museum with the feel of walking around Forbidden Planet on a Saturday afternoon. One for the geekiest of geeks only - needless to say Jess had a blast :)
This morning was the first time in 2 weeks I managed to stay in bed past 8am. I though having no job and no responsibilities would translate into catching up on my sleep but I actually felt more rested after pulling an eight hour shift at the bookstore.
Speaking of which - I caught up with a few of the guys (why do I call all my friends - even the cute female ones - 'guys'?) from Foyles and had a few drinks at the Phoenix on Friday night. That was fun but I'm still not tempted to go job hunting again just yet.
I've had a SHEDFULL of email to get through and started messing around with the rest of the site. Snagged a copy of the new version of Dreamweaver on Kazaa Lite and after a day of playing with it and all its new bells and whistles decided to go very low key and simple anyway. I'm going to be updating the whole site as we travel so I want things to be as straightforward as possible.
As usual much of the site remains a mess but thanks for all the kind stuff you guys send my way.
Thanks for all the weird stuff too.
That is all.
Tomorrow will be a s l o w day. Bags of Doctor Who on the TV for a start followed by the small pile of movies I downloaded while we were out today.
I love this machine.
Thinking of getting a laptop? Get ALIENWARE. You will not regret it...
PS Maybe its the lack of sleep but I just saw Old School and it was funny as fuck. Maybe I'm just getting old...
