THE WORLD NEEDS ALEX COX I am still getting a lot of mail about Moviedrome. One day this week I'll sit down and try to put something decent together - I'm 5th at the moment if you google Moviedrome and the second hit that actually has something to do with Alex Cox and BBC2. I'll add it to the list of projects I have ongoing. My throat hurts. Jess went to bed already but I'm in no mood for sleep this evening. I love the view of London in the middle of the night - I can take my drink out onto the balcony and watch the lights until I start shivering. Tomorrow Jess starts Spanish lessons - I'm relying on her to get us around the Mexican leg of the trip. Luckily I am fluent in American and Australian so it all evens out. For Tokyo I am relying on my patented Takeshi Kitano walk. We will be planning the Amtrak part of the trip tomorrow too. If you want us to drop in on you some time in December/January then drop me an email sooner rather than later. I watched a lot of bad TV today. We are now considering having the cable removed. How do people suffer this crap? We'll probably leave it hooked up until we get back from the trip and then have it killed along with the few other bits and pieces we need altering. Getting a ladder up onto the roof is still the main priority - then I can think about hooking up a webcam. More coffee... Mike is blogging to: German noise
