And we're back in 5, 4, 3...
3am... all that cold fresh air up north obviously didn't make me tired.
Damn good to be back in London although I did get the opportunity to catch up with Andy and Stuart while I was up there. Highlight of the trip was just relaxing and talking bollocks again with the only two people who understand the true horror of Worm Warfare.
I miss those guys.
The family stuff was pretty much as I expected, but I scored an unexpected bonus by unearthing a pile of stuff that I hadn't seen in years and then slipping it back here like a modern day Oscar Schindler.
Check out my loot:
Having all these to reread goes some way to make up for missing the Zarjaz! launch.
I thought this was lost and as dead as Laura Palmer. Wow, Bob wow.
I'll begin rereading all the old books I brought back first thing tomorrow.
All in all it was a much more enjoyable trip than I thought it was going to be...
Now I can finally organise the Twin Peaks/2000AD/pulp scifi party that I've been promising everyone for years...

Methinks DR & Quinch would probably give Mr Troy more grief than any 'radiation beast'
You could be right.
Although there's some nice stuff in there that I'll get around to quoting once I pick it up again. I got distracted by Cormac McCarthy.
And as much as I like my trade paperbacks there's something more vital about reading Alan Moore on disintergrating low quality paper...
