5AM AND ALL IS WELL London is pretty when it's dark. I decided to forego the whole sleeping thing tonight. I'm usually ready for a little downtime after staying up for 36 hours, so I'm looking forward to a little shut eye around 1am tomorrow. A sizeable chunk of today went in setting up the new computer. It's an Alienware Area51m Extreme and if that sounds geeky that's because it is. Beautiful machine. I'm still tidying up the site - I've decided to consolidate a lot of the mess that lives outside the blog and streamline everything. Or at least cut off some of the bulky corners. I found a great blog tonight that some of you should get a kick out of: Still Jenny from the Blog I love the 'Very Short Fiction' posts - it's an idea I'll probably steal. Tomorrow is a day of appointments and deliveries which means I'll be housebound all day. That suits me as I can get on with the writing and carry on stealing software via kazaa lite. Mark is coming over for lunch too which will be good as I haven't seen him in ages. Frank rang from Australia tonight too - had a long chat about Jodorowsky and he's already arranged accommodation for us in Brisbane and the Gold Coast as well as a trip into the bush. We may have to rejig our time in Mexico a little to give us an extra few days out in Oz but so far the whole thing is running very smoothly. More coffee I think - I'll be back when the sun rises. Mike is blogging to: Nick Cave
