"I QUIT. SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY ME. NOW LEAVE ME ALONE" Been thinking long and hard about a lot of stuff recently - good old insomnia - and have made a couple of decisions. First and foremost I'm going to quit my job at Borders first thing tomorrow. It's been way too easy to just not go to work the last couple of days and the thought of lying about it makes my stomach turn. So I'm going to go in tomorrow and let them know I was off for personal reasons not because I was ill and then give them the resignation letter that I'm about to type. I'll offer to stay until the end of the year so as not to leave them short over Christmas but the bottom line is that I want out by the New Year. I like the people but to be honest I'm not really stretching myself there - just need to find something that's a little more challenging (and perhaps a little less Evil American Empire-ish). With all that's been going on lately I've let the veganism slip. Back on that track tomorrow - feel guiltier about eating cheese than I do about not going into work. Any good vegan recipes or exciting new job opportunities and I'm all ears... Mike is blogging to: Jawbreaker
